# Gameplay

In *Awakening*, players face relentless waves of enemies in a fast-paced, survival-based environment. Your main objective is to survive as long as possible while completing daily quests, gathering resources, and fighting off increasingly challenging foes. As you progress, you'll unlock new abilities, characters, and weapons, all of which are crucial for extending your survival and climbing the leaderboards.

Awakening emphasizes quick reflexes and strategic decision-making. Each run starts with basic attacks and abilities, but as you defeat enemies and collect experience points, you can upgrade your skills, and enhance your character's stats. Over time, you'll face increasingly dangerous waves of enemies, forcing you to adapt and optimize your playstyle on the fly.

The key to success lies in balancing survival with progression. Players must efficiently use health potions, speed boosts, and attack buffs to fend off enemies while ensuring that they gather enough XPs to continue upgrading.

As the intensity ramps up, the right combination of characters, weapons, and in-game items will be essential for surviving longer and dominating the leaderboards.

Every run is different, offering a mix of unique challenges and opportunities that will test your skill, strategy, and adaptability.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://unfetteredecosystem.gitbook.io/linea-guild-games-guide/awakening-game/awakening-overview/gameplay.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
